Directions
District 8 Field Directions
East Windsor Little League:
The league plays all of its games at Osborne fields located on South Water Street.
From north of EW take the rt. 140 exit off of 91 and a right at the end of the ramp. From south of EW take the same exit off of 91 but take a left at the end of the ramp. Follow rt. 140 to the light just before the Connecticut River Bridge. Take a left onto South Water Street and proceed approximately 1 mile to the fields. If coming from Rt. 159, cross the river on Rt. 140 from Windsor Locks and turn right onto South Water Street at the end of the Bridge.
Ellington Little League:
All Major, Junior and Senior League games are played at Brookside Park. Brookside Park is located 3 miles west of Ellington Center on Rt. 140. From Rt. 91 take the Rt. 140 exit and turn east onto Rt. 140. Follow Rt. 140 into Ellington and the park, which is located on the left across from the Rolling Meadow Golf Course, is easily accessed from 140. Ellington Softball, new for 2003, also plays their games at Brookside Park.
Enfield Little League:
The Enfield Little League baseball plays most of its games at Powder Hollow Park. From I-91 take Rt. 190 East – Exit 47E – and proceed east for approximately 2.5 miles. After passing a Video Galaxy store on your left there will be a stop light with a Dairy Mart. Turn right onto South Maple Street. At the bottom of the hill on the right hand side will be a sign for Powder Hollow. This sign will be before reaching a single lane bridge. Follow the road into Powder Hollow. The fields are at the end of the road.
From East of Enfield follow RT. 190 West into the center of Hazardville. Take a left onto South Maple St. Take the second right onto Dusthouse Road. The park entrance is at the end of the road.
The Enfield Little League Softball utilizes the fields at the Mark Twain Rec. Center. From the south follow I-91 to exit 46 – King St. / Rt. 5. At the end of the ramp take a right onto Rt. 5 and head north. Proceed about 3 miles past the Felician Sisters complex to South Street. Turn right onto South and proceed past two sets of traffic lights. After the second set of lights the Rec. Center is on the left. From Suffield and points west follow Rt. 190 to the Mobile station just past the Stop and Shop Plaza. Turn right onto Middle Road. Take the first right onto Beech Road and then right onto South Street. The rec. center will be about 1000 feet ahead on the right. From Somers and points east follow Rt. 190 through Hazardville past Elm Street and take a left onto South Street. The rec. center is located just past the first traffic light.
Manchester Little Leagues:
Manchester has added a new field as of 2000 season - Ed Dettore Field - that is located at Northwest Park. From I-84 East of Manchester take exit 63. Turn right at the lights at the end of the ramp onto Deming Street. At the first light on Deming turn Right onto Tolland Turnpike. Travel for approximately ½ mile and take the first left after Bob’s Discount furniture. The field is straight ahead with parking to the left.
From I-84 West of Manchester take exit 63. Turn right at the lights at the end of the ramp. Bear left at the next light to stay on Tolland Turnpike. Travel for approximately ½ mile and take the first left after Bob’s Discount Furniture. The field will be straight ahead with parking to the left.
Manchester National Little League plays at Leber Field. Take Rt. 384 to the Spencer Street exit. At the end of the ramp take a left onto Spencer Street. At the 4th traffic light take a left onto Olcott Street. Proceed ¼ mile to Love Lane and take a left. Leber Field is on the left approximately 100 yards in.
Manchester American Little League plays at Bagshaw Field. Take Rt. 84 East to exit 60. At the end of the ramp turn right. At the light in front of Cheney Tech bear left. At the light in front of East Catholic bear right onto Middle Turnpike. Follow Middle Turnpike for 2 to 3 miles. At the corner of Broad Street and Middle Turnpike Bagshaw Field will be on the left.
Manchester Softball plays at Charter Oak Park. Take Rt. 384 exit 3 – Downtown Manchester / Glastonbury exit. Turn right at the end of the ramp. Take the next right onto Charter Oak Street and go past the Rt. 384 entrance. Turn right at the light down into the park. The 2nd and 3rd fields are used by Little League Softball.
Manchester Softball also utilizes the New State Road field. Directions to this field are as follows: From 84 West take exit 60 - West Middle Turnpike – and turn left off of the ramp. At the fork in the road stay to the
left. East Catholic and Cheney Tech will be on your left. At the light stay to the left, New State Road field
is about 1 mile up on the right. From 84 East take exit 60 and turn right at the end of the ramp. Then follow
the above instructions.
Rockville Little League:
Rockville plays at Henry Park. From Ellington take Rt. 83 into Rockville/Vernon. Follow Rt. 83 through until it turns into West Street. At the light, with Armory on the right, take the next left onto South Street. Follow South Street through stop signs and four way stop. Henry Park entrance will be located on the left. Follow road in to parking areas. Games are at the first field on the left
From South Windsor take Rt. 30 to the Vernon Police Department. Take a left onto West Road and follow for approximately 1 mile to South Street. Turn right onto South Street and follow to the park. Games are at the first field on the left.
Somers Little League:
The Somers Little League Games are played on a field located behind the Somers town hall. From I-91 take Rt. 190 east past Rt. 83 to the Somers Town Hall. The driveway is to the right of the building and takes you to the parking area for the field.
For the Jr./Sr. league field, turn right onto Rt. 83 and follow to Field Road on the right. Follow Field Road to Field Road Park. Jr./Sr. League field is located there.
South Windsor Little Leagues:
The South Windsor Little Leagues play at the fields located on Ayers Road. Take Rt. 5 north or south to Sullivan Avenue. Take Sullivan Avenue to Ayers Road, a left turn if coming from Rt. 5. The fields will be located on the left about ½ mile in.
The Jr./Sr. Leagues sometimes play at the Nevers Road fields. The Nevers 1 field is located on Nevers Road behind the South Windsor Community Center. Follow Ayers Road to its end and turn right onto Nevers. The Community Center will be on the left and the field behind it. Nevers 2 is located next to Nevers 1 but is entered from Abbe Road Extension. Go past the Community Center to the end of Nevers Road and take a left. Turn left onto Abbe Road Ext. the field entrance will be a left approximately ¼ mile up.
Stafford Little League
:The Little League plays at Kealy Field. From Rt. 84 take exit 70 and go left onto Rt. 32. Follow Rt. 32 to the center of Stafford. Town Hall is on the right and a Fountain is on your left. Go past Town Hall and turn right. This should be Rt.190. Follow Rt.190 to a flashing traffic light and take a left onto Rt. 19. Follow Rt. 19 until you see the tennis courts. Kealy Field is on the right after the tennis courts and across from Maple Garage.
From the west take Rt. 91 to Rt.190 East through Somers and over Somers Mountain. At intersection of Rt. 319 and Rt. 190 bear left onto Rt. 319. Follow Rt. 319 to the stoplight. Go straight and follow this road to a flashing traffic light. Turn left onto Rt. 19 and follow Rt. 19 to the tennis courts and Kealy field will be on the Right.
Stafford Softball: From 190:
Follow 190 into center of Stafford. Go past Baker's Furniture on the left. In ~ 1/8 mile take a right at the "cannon". At stop sign take a right. Go over railroad tracks and bridge. Take immediate left towards Witt Intermediate School. Take immediate left after school into a one- way road. The field is the 2nd field in the park from this direction. Parking is available on the left side of the road or across the street at the X-Tra Mart.
From 140:
Follow 140 into Stafford. Go past the Stafford Motor Speedway on your left. Straight at a stop sign just past the Speedway. (This is the backside of the Speedway). Straight at the next stop sign. Take the next right (~ 200yds.) towards Witt Intermediate School. (This right is just before a bridge). Take an immediate left after the school. This is a one-way road. The field is the 2nd field from this direction. Parking is along the road or across the street at the X-Tra Mart.
The Junior/Senior League Baseball plays at the Stafford High School. Take exit 70 off I-84 go left onto Rt. 32 and follow to the center of Stafford. Town Hall is on the right and Fountain is on your left. Go past Town Hall and go right this will be Rt. 190. Follow Rt.190 to flashing light and take a left onto Rt. 19. Follow Rt. 19 to another flashing light go left onto Rt.319. Follow Rt. 319 about 2 miles and at a sharp corner Stafford High School is on the left. Enter the High School and bear left, keeping the school on your right, follow the road towards the middle school and the fields will be on the right
Taking Rt.190 East through Somers and over Somers Mountain. At intersection of Rt. 319 and Rt. 190 Bear Left onto Rt. 319. Follow Rt. 319 to stop light. Go straight at the top of the hill Stafford High School is on the right. Enter the High School and bear left, keeping the school on your right, follow the road towards the middle school and the fields will be on the right
Suffield Little League:
The little league will play at the Christian Field complex on Hale Street in Suffield.
Take Rt. 75 north till you reach Spencer Street (a left-hand turn after the end of the runway at Bradley). Follow Spencer to it’s end and take a left onto Hale St. Follow Hale for approximately one mile to the fields located on the left side of the street. Softball is here also.
The Jr./Sr. leagues will play at Bruce Park. Take Rt. 75 North from Rt. 91 to the center of Suffield. At the traffic light turn left onto Rt. 168 Mountain road. Go about 4 miles Bruce Park will be on the left just after the Police Station located at 911 Mountain Road. If Bruce Park is not available the games will be at Suffield Academy. Go straight at the traffic light and take the second left into the school. Parking is just behind the Gym and a short walk down the hill to the field. Assume all games at Bruce Park unless notified.
Thompsonville Little League
:Thompsonville Little League plays all of its games behind Asnuntuck Community College unless otherwise notified. From South of Enfield take I-91 to exit 48. Turn right at the end of the ramp and proceed east on Elm Street. Go past Enfield Square and State Line plaza. Asnuntuck will be on the right after the plaza. Go around the right side of the school to the fields and parking in the rear of the school
From Rt.190 travel to Palomba Drive and turn North on Palomba. Go to the end of Palomba and turn right
onto Elm Street. Take the first driveway on the right, entrance to Asnuntuck, and proceed around the right side of the building to the fields and parking in the rear of the school.
Note for Junior and Senior League Baseball go to the left side of the building and the field is there.
All tournament games are played at the fenced field near the concession stand.
Softball games are played at Mt. Carmel Field. Take 91 to Elm Street – Rt.220. Left at the end of the ramp
And go 2/10ths of a mile to Summer Street. Right onto Summer Street and proceed to the stop sign at Park
Street. Turn right into the park.
Tolland Little League:
Tolland Little League plays at Lions Field in Tolland. Take I-84 east to exit 68 Rt. 195. Turn left at the end of the ramp going past one light and a Mobile Station. Take the first left after the Mobile station and the field will be located approximately ¼ mile in.
An alternate field is sometimes used. Take a right at the end of the ramp. Follow Rt. 195 past the 7-11 and Daly’s Power. As you go down Rt. 195 you will pass the Children House Day Care on the left. Take the next left onto Walbridge Road. Follow the road to its end and take a left and quick right. River Park will be locate ¼ mile down on the left.
The Junior and Senior League Baseball teams play at the Tolland High School.

Vernon Little League:
Little League Baseball and Softball - Vernon Little League plays at Legion Field Complex. From points west of Vernon take I-84 east to exit 66 -Bolton/Tunnel Road - turn left at the end of the exit onto South Frontage Road, then left onto Bolton Road. From points east of Vernon take exit 66 and turn right at the end of the ramp then left on Bolton Road. From either direction, proceed on Bolton Road to the traffic light on Route 30 and turn right. Take the first left onto West Road. This will take you past Vernon Center Middle School where softball games may also be played. For Legion Field, continue to the first light and turn left onto Regan Road. Legion Field will be on the right.
From the South Windsor Direction travel Dart Hill Road to Rt. 83 - Talcottville Road. At the junction of Rt. 83 and Dart Hill Road (Texaco Station), go straight through the light onto Regan Road. Turn left into the
Legion Field Complex. If you come to a stoplight you went too far.
From Ellington, take Route 83 South and turn left on Regan Road at the Texaco Station, Legion Field will be on the left.
Entering the complex, Legion South is the first field on the left. Legion West is at the end of the entry road on the left and Legion East is at the end of the road on the right.
Vernon Junior/Senior Baseball League plays at Henry Park or Rockville High School. Call the manager
to determine where you will play.
Henry Park - From Ellington take Rt. 83 into Rockville/Vernon. Go straight on West Street at the Mobil Station. Go past the Armory and take the left AFTER the traffic light onto South Street, go about 2 miles and Henry Park will be on the left, the field is the second one on the right.
Henry Park - from Route 84 - follow Little League directions above, after Vernon Center Middle School go about 1/2 mile and turn right on South Street, proceed about 2 miles, Henry Park will be on the left, field is the second on the right.
Rockville High School - Located on Loveland Hill Road, which is a right turn off Route 83 (northbound), about 1/4 mile north of the Texaco Station at the intersection of Dart Hill Road and Route 83. The JV field is behind the school on the left, the Varsity field is behind the school near the tennis courts.
Windsor American Little League
:The Little League plays its games on a field off of Bloomfield Avenue.
From south of Windsor take exit 37 off of 91 and a right at the end of the ramp. From north of Windsor take 37 off of 91 and a left at the end of the ramp. Go straight for approximately one-mile and the fields will be on the left. Parking is available near the field.
Jr. / Sr. League games are usually played at Windsor High School or Sage Park located on Sage Park Road in Windsor.
Take Rt.91 to Exit 36. Make a left from the North or a right from the South onto Park Ave heading east. After reaching the flashing yellow light, make the second left onto Sage Park Road. (If you reach a traffic light you went too far.) High School fields are on the right at the stop sign. For the Sage Park field, go past the stop sign and turn left into the middle school entrance and bear right into the parking lot. The field is to the right of the parking lot.
Windsor International Little League
:The league plays all of its games at Welch Park located on Rt. 75 in Poquonock.
From either 91 North or South take exit 38. At the end of the ramp take a right (from either north or south) and follow rt75 for several miles. At the light just after crossing the Farmington River Bridge take a left into the driveway next to the Poquonock market. Take the dirt road to the left of the swimming pool and follow it around to the fields.
Windsor Locks Little League:
9&10 Baseball and Little League Baseball play at the Pesci I/II fields located on Center Street in Windsor Locks.
From the South. Take the exit 42 off of I-91 and turn right at the end of the ramp. Go .4 miles to the top of the hill (just past the Longview RV place) take a right onto South Center Street in Windsor Locks. Continue on Center Street for approximately 2 miles. You go through two stop signs then two lights and then a last stop sign. Field is on the right after the last stop sign. Parking is after the field.
From North and East. Take Rt.140 across the Connecticut River. Use the Bridge Street, Warehouse Point Exit off I-91 if coming from I-91 South. Once over the river and the canal continue straight across Rt.159, Main Street in Windsor Locks, to Church Street. Follow Church Street to the end and turn right onto Center Street. Go through one set of traffic lights and a stop sign. The fields are on the right just after the stop sign. Parking is available after the field and down the hill from the field. Do not park in the old school yard it is now private property.
From the West. Take Rt.20 to the Rt.75 exit. Take a left at the end of the exit ramp and proceed to the fourth set of traffic lights. This should be the intersection of Rt.75 and Rt.140, Elm Street. There will be a Texaco station on one corner and Dunkin Donuts on the other. Turn right onto Elm St. (Rt.140) and proceed to the fourth set of traffic lights at Elm and Center. Turn left onto Center and proceed through the traffic light at Center and Spring Street, through the Stop sign at Center and Grove. The fields are on the right just after Grove Street. Parking is available just after the grandstand and down the hill.
9-10 Softball, Little League Softball, Junior League Softball, Junior League and Senior League Baseball play at Reed Park unless otherwise noted.
From the South. Take the exit 42 off of I-91 and turn right at the end of the ramp. This should be the intersection of Rt.75 and Spring Street (DB Mart is on corner). Turn right onto Spring Street. Proceed about ½ mile, and then take left onto Smalley Road. Take third right onto Deborah Road into Reed Park Parking lot.
Bolton Little League: Currently not playing Little League
The league plays all of its games at a field at the Indian Notch Park. Take rt. 291 east to rt. 384.Follow 384 to the end where it will become rt. 6/44 follow continue on rt. 44 after rt. 6 turns off. Follow rt. 44 to Tolland Street, which is a left off of 44, on an uphill stretch after the second stop light.
East Granby Little League
: District 6 LeagueThe league plays its games at Granbrook Park. From I-91 take exit 40 – Bradley Field exit – to Rt.20 West. Follow Rt.20 through the intersection of Rt.187. The third road on the left, at a stoplight, will be Holcomb Street. Turn left onto Holcomb and follow it to the intersection of Rt.189 – Hartford Avenue. Turn right onto Hartford Ave. and proceed approximately ¼ of a mile to Granbrook Park Road on the left. Turn left onto Granbrook and follow down the hill to the park.
The Junior League Baseball plays at the East Granby High School Field. From I-91 take exit 40 – the Bradley Field exit – to RT.20 West. Follow Rt.20 t the intersection of Rt.187. Turn left on Rt.187 and go
approximately 1 mile. The entrance to the East Granby Middle/High will be on the left. Proceed around the left side of the school and the field will be on the left behind the building.
Granby Little League: District 6 League
Granby Little League and the Jr./Sr. Leagues play at Salmon Brook Park on Rt. 10/202 in Granby. Take the Airport connector from I-91 and follow Rt.20 to 10/202. Turn left onto 10/202 and proceed approximately 1 mile. Salmon Brook Park is on the right. Fields are to the left after entering the park.
Granby Senior League Softball plays at the Granby High School. Take the Bradley connector from I-91 to Rt.20 West. Follow Rt.20 West to the intersection of Rt.202/10 and Rt.189. Proceed across Rt.202/10 to Rt.189 and follow Rt.189 to the High School Entrance, located just past the Public Works Garage. The
softball field is located on the left just before the main parking area.
Simsbury Little League: District 6 League
The Simsbury Little League plays at Memorial Park in Simsbury. To get to the park take I91 to the Bradley International exit – Rt.20 – and follow Rt.20 to Granby center. At the intersection of Rt.10 and Rt.20 turn left onto Rt.10 and proceed south to Simsbury. The stoplight just after Andy’s Supermarket, on the left of Rt.10, will be Plank Hill Road. Turn left onto Plank Hill, a brownstone United Methodist Church is on the right, and proceed up the hill past the cemetery. The entrance to Memorial Park is on the right just after the cemetery. Upon entering the park you will see parking and fields 1 to 4. To get to field 5 take the first right upon entering the park. Proceed up the hill and field 5 will be on the left at the top of the hill.
Simsbury Senior League Baseball also plays at the high school. Instead of the left onto Plank Hill Road continue south through the center of Simsbury to Route 309 (West Street). There is a large white church on the corner. Turn right onto Route 309. Go past the second light and the Simsbury High School is on the right. The baseball field is in the back of the school.
Simsbury Senior League Baseball also uses Town Forest Field. At the light in front of the Simsbury High School turn left onto Rt. 167 (Bushy Hill Road). Go to the next stoplight, Stratton Brook Road. Make a right onto Stratton Brook and proceed for 1 to 2 miles to Town Forest Road. Make a left onto Town Forest and proceed to the end, approximately ½ mile. The field will be on the left.
